I redid this song for a few reasons. I think this song is fun. And, my first version for the album Maybe Bliss was the last song I created with Ableton Intro. I upgraded to Standard, and I was really surprised at how much better this, and other songs, sounded after the upgrade. Especially the bass, so I thought for that reason, a redo was a good idea.
This recording also gave me a chance to test my new “studio”, small as it is. I added this recording to a session that was planned for Vegetation on Mars Live as that session ended with time to spare and this was the add-on plan. It gave me a chance to try new lighting for the video,which did not work as planned, as it made the camera slower to focus (used it anyway). But, the audio worked out well, recorded live with one microphone.
