Written in 2022, this album represents a period of transition for me. Buying a microphone changed everything—it meant I had to start thinking seriously about lyrics, then melodies, and soon I found myself wanting to create more. I could almost feel my creativity coming back to life.

I had also started playing guitar again, though not well enough to perform a full song yet. I wasn’t entirely comfortable with the keyboard either, but I was playing more than I had before. And for the first time, I was beginning to understand how to use a DAW (Digital Audio Workstation aka a home studio).

Like so many things in life, some things just take time.
